The scientific journal New Researches in the Studies of the History of Islam and Iran examines research and promotional articles with innovation and originality in the following approaches:
- Intellectual and cultural transformations with an emphasis on Iranian-Islamic identity
- A new approach in the social and economic developments of Iran and the Islamic world
- The history of developments in Iran and the Islamic world in the field of thought
- Islamology and Iranology in the West
- Personality of influential leaders and men in Iran and the Islamic world
A- General structure of the article
1- The title of the article is interesting and new and focuses on an issue within the framework of the journal.
2- Abstract including problem, question, method and research findings between 200 and 250 words.
3- Keywords in the vector five to seven main words of the article.
4- The introduction provides the general framework and initial discussion of the topic of the article.
5- Research background in order to show the necessity of new research.
6- The text or body of the article containing the description and explanation of the research problem.
7- Conclusion means presenting the findings of the research and not summarizing or repeating the contents of the article.
8- Setting up the bibliography based on the style of setting up the addresses.
9- Inserting graphs, tables and pictures in the text of the article and documents should be given at the end of the article if there is an urgent need.
10- The article should be in B Nazanin font, size 13, and 6000 to 8000 words.
11- When submitting an article, the name of the author (authors) along with scientific characteristics and organizational affiliation and email must be sent in a complete and accurate manner in the system and in a separate file in Farsi and Latin:
Example: Assistant Professor, Department of History, Faculty of Literature and Humanities, University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran.
B- How to set addresses
1- Insert the address of the sources used in the text as follows:
- In reference to documents (abbreviated name, document number: page number) should be added.
- In the reference to the manuscript (manuscript name, sheet number) it should be mentioned.
- In order to refer within the text to the document, the name of the country's document centers has been abbreviated in the following manner in this quarterly:
- Marāsān: Islamic Revolution Documents Center.
- Motmā: Institute of Iranian Contemporary History Studies.
- Sākmā: Iran's National Library and Document Organization.
- MAPS: Institute of Political Studies and Research
- Marja (mārjā): Center for documents of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
- Kemām: library, museum and documentation center of the Islamic Council.
- Estādux: Office of Documents and History of Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Sakmāq: organization of libraries, museums and documents center of Astan Quds Razavi.
- In reference to the newspaper (name of the newspaper, number of the newspaper (date), page number) should be given.
- To be used in reference to the interview (surname of interviewee, date of interview).
- In the reference to the book (last name of the author or authors, year of publication of the work: used page) should be given. Example: (Nadri, 2013: 54).
If several pages of the same source are used, the numbers are set from left to right, for example: (Tehrani, 2013: 9-18).
If the used source has different covers, it is necessary to insert the used cover after the year of publication of the work in front, for example: (Moradi, 2013: 65/1).
If two or more works from the same author and from the same year are used, they should be distinguished by alphabetical letters. Example: (Hosseini, 1393 A: 1/76).
If the period at the end of the sentence reaches the parentheses of the address, it should be placed after the parentheses, for example: "It was" (Khodadadi, 2012 A: 2/18).
If the used source (book, newspaper, document, etc.) is repeated immediately, the same or similar items are not used, but the address is repeated in full.
- Addressing the verses of the Quran will be as follows: (Hajj: 18).
-Reference to sites, if necessary, will be addressed as follows: (tebyan.net dated 1392: 2 Mehr).
2- The Latin translation of the names as well as the necessary explanations should be briefly included in the subtitle.
3- Addresses of Latin sources should be inserted in the same way as Persian addresses, for example: (Fukoyama, 1995: 21)
4- In the list of the bibliography, separate addresses should be entered as follows:
For the documents and books of the document collection: the full name of the document center (in bold), the number of the documents should be indicated in order.
Example: Islamic Revolution Documentation Center (Marasan): 478156.
Example: Imam in the mirror of documents: the course of Ayatollah Khomeini's campaigns according to Shahrbani documents, vol. 3, Tehran: Ayatollah Khomeini's Works Editing and Publishing Institute, 1386, Ch2.
For manuscript: Title of manuscript (in bold). Manuscript storage location, retrieval number.
Sample: Tastur al-Al-Azaj, Ayatollah Azami Golpayegani Library, 5/31.
For the book: surname, first name, name of the work (in bold), first and last name of the translator or proofreader, volume used, name of the place of publication, name of the publisher, year of publication, edition.
Example: Chardin, Jean, Chardin's travel book, translated by Iqbal Yaghmai, vol. 3, Tehran, Tos publishing house, 2015, ch. 2.
For the article: surname, first name, "name of the article", name of the journal (in bold), year, journal number, month and year of publication, pages of the article.
Example: Arnolds, R., "Revenue on Logic", translated by Reza Sadeghi, Maarif Aqli Quarterly, Q2, Vol.1, Spring 2015, pp. 79-110.
Other: surname, first name, "topic", type of work or source (interview, speech) (in bold), exact date of interview or speech, year of publication.
5- Sources should be arranged alphabetically based on last name and first name. The last name and the name of the author or authors should be rewritten every time it is repeated in the bibliography, and avoid inserting a space or a period instead of the author's name.
6- It is necessary to insert "Q, S and M" as signs of the lunar, solar and Gregorian years after the date.
7- Abbreviations are used in the reference list. C instead of cover/Ch instead
C. Other issues
1- Even if possible, the academic level of the responsible author should not be lower than that of an assistant professor. The academic level of other authors should not be less than master's degree. The responsibility of the announced scientific level and rank is the responsibility of the responsible author (the sender of the article).
2- Submitting an article to this publication means not simultaneously submitting it to other magazines and conferences, if it is proven otherwise, it will be done according to the regulations of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
3- Authors are responsible for the originality and correctness of the content in the articles, and the publication is not responsible for the views expressed in the articles.
4- The editors of the journal are free to reject, accept, print and modify articles.
5- Preparing and sending the Latin translation of the abstract of the article after finalization is mandatory by the responsible author.
6- An acceptance certificate is issued for articles that have completed all evaluation stages. The recognition of this issue and the priority and delay of the publication of the articles will be done with the opinion of the editor of the publication.
7- Articles received only through the quarterly system will be reviewed. Further follow-ups will be possible only through the system.
8- It is recommended that the author use the content of the articles of the previous issues of the Scientific Journal of Modern Research in Islamic and Iranian History Studies in the final preparation of the article.
9- It is not prohibited to quote the contents of the journal by mentioning its name and welcomes any scientific criticism and suggestions.
