Mohammad ibn Omar Tabaristani Razi (544 AH), known as Fakhr al-Din al-Razi, was a distinguished scholar of the Shafi'i Ash'ari school who was a leader in various fields of his time, and many of his views are still being discussed and debated. Fakhr al-Razi wrote many and varied works on various subjects and fields, and perhaps, apart from the works attributed to him, the number of his treatises and original works reaches about one hundred titles. Several of Fakhr al-Razi's works are among his most famous works; such as the book Mafatih al-Ghayb wa al-Muhasal and the book Al-Mabahath al-Mashreqiyya fi 'Ilm al-Ilhiyyat wa al-Tabi'iyat, which is a comprehensive and important collection of the philosophy of Masha', and in the contemporary period, there have been controversies regarding Mulla Sadra's plagiarism from this book.
Given the importance of the book Al-Mabahith al-Mashreqiyah, unfortunately, this work does not have a correction based on its numerous and old manuscripts. Therefore, it is appropriate to carry out a manuscript study of this book and a genealogy of all its manuscripts. In the meantime, the oldest manuscript of this book in Iran is the manuscript in the library of the Holy Shrine of Qom. Apart from the antiquity of the manuscript (687 AH), this collection contains another important feature, which is the dedication (1037 AH) of this manuscript by Shah Abbas Safavi to the Holy Shrine of the Shrine of Hazrat Fatimah Masoumeh. In the present article, the complete specifications of the list of this manuscript have been examined and it provides significant information to researchers in the fields of philosophy, theology, and the fields of library science and manuscript restoration.
