This research aims to examine the developments during Qavam al-Din's presence in Mazandaran from the perspective of numismatics. The study of coins from the period of Qavam al-Din's joint rule with Kiya Afrasiab Chelawi (750-760 AH) and his independent rule (760-781 AH) provides valuable information about the developments of this era. The coins of this period were minted in the name of Imam Mahdi (a.s.), which indicates the high position of the belief in "Mahdism" in Qavam al-Din's rule. The presence of Shiite rituals, especially the names of the Twelver Imams (a.s.) in the texts of many coins of this period reflects the formality of Twelver Shiism. The minting of coins of this period in the mints of Sari and Amol indicates the geographical scope of Qavam al-Din's rule. Despite Qavam al-Din's direct influence on the Sarbadaran movement, the texts minted on the coins of these two governments have significant differences; Because the Sarbadarans have mentioned Sunni rituals extensively on their coins, while most of the coins of the Qavam al-Din era contain Shiite rituals. This research, with a descriptive-analytical approach and relying on numismatic documents, seeks to demonstrate the application of numismatic studies in historical research.
