Yemen is of particular importance due to its special geographical location, its proximity to the Hijaz, the presence of tribes that were influential in all the events of early Islam, and the circle of various Islamic ideas. Among the most important historical points in Yemen that had a direct impact on its future developments is the uprising of Yahya ibn al-Hussein al-Hadi to al-Haqq, the founder of the Zaydi government in Yemen. This uprising and movement on the part of al-Hadi led to the formation of a thousand-year-old government in Yemen, from which the Zaydi Shiite thought was promoted and perpetuated in the Islamic world. The present article seeks to answer the question of how the characteristics and actions of al-Hadi's uprising were able to achieve success? To answer this question, Charles Tilly's mobilization theory has been used to obtain a detailed analysis of this issue. The prevailing hypotheses are that al-Hadi and his followers used various types and mobilized resources to take action against their enemies and opponents to achieve the ideals of the uprising.
