Mohammad Taghi Khan Kunorsi came to power during the time of Fath Ali Shah Qajar. Although in the beginning, his power was only limited to the four Bakhtiari clans, but gradually the Haft Lang clans were added to the territory of his rule. After Mohammad Taghi Khan, Hossein Qoli Khan Duraki was the second famous Bakhtiari Khan. He, who received the title of Ilkhani from Naser al-Din Shah Qajar, succeeded in subjugating the clans of Chahar Lang and Haft Lang. This research, with a descriptive-analytical method, tries to answer the question, "How is the performance of Mohammad Taghi Khan and Hossein Qoli Khan evaluated at the level of the Bakhtiari family and the country of Iran?".
The findings of the research show that Mohammad Taghi Khan was able to deal with the affairs of the nomads with proper management despite the characteristics such as skillful swordsmanship, fearless warrior, excellent shooting, unparalleled horsemanship, intelligent, honest, skilled, pious and well-behaved. He wanted to transform the nomadic life into a peasant life, open the way for trade with the English and end the differences between the four and Haft Lang clans. In addition to maintaining order and security, Hossein Qoli Khan was able to suppress the rebels and bandits. Hossein Qoli Khan's power-seeking angered Naser al-Din Shah and his son Zal al-Sultan. Finally, Zal al-Sultan ended the life of Hossein Qoli Khan Ilkhani during a party in Isfahan.
